Yesterday was known as Kartini Day. Kartini Day is celebrated on the 21st of April every year, and is also referred to as ‘Hari Ibu Kartini’ by the locals. Hailed as the country’s first feminist, Kartini is the symbol of women’s strength in a world that is fraught with gender inequality and the suppression of women’s rights.
To honor her progressive idea, her birthday, April 21st, is celebrated through out Indonesia, by wearing traditional clothing such as 'Kebaya'.
Any of you have been tried to wear Kebaya before? If not, you can have o look when Bali-an staff wearing kebaya on some special event. Like Kimono,it shows women body line. So everyone who wears Kebaya would be feel beautiful inside and out.
The weather is getting warmer day by day, even this morning i felt like it summer already..
It's kinda hot out there, so you'd better find a shade in the shopping mall like Marui.Hehe..
